Oktoberfest

Well, I am finally feeling crafty – thanks to a little help from my friends!  I have been off to a retreat, treated to some crafty classes, and had a lovely weekend at a friend’s house.  Plus I just finished an online class entitled “Kick Start” – trying to find the joy in crafting.  I even got a start on my Halloween cards (which I will share later)!

I had such fun making this card – incorporating a little digital work (the beer keg – found online, and a poem) with the stamped image.  In order to make the stamped Hansel and the digital beer keg look like they belonged together – I colored both with Copic markers, and when I placed the images onto the card, I layered Hansel’s legs over the top of the beer stein on foam squares and then shaded around both images once they were in place.

Enjoy the card and the start of cooler weather!
